Chrysler Dodge A500 40RH Transmission Performance Alto Red Eagle Rebuild Master L2 Kit 1992-On. This rebuild kit includes all of the High Performance Red Alto Friction Plates, Kolene Steel Plates, Sealing Rings, Metal Clad Seals, Gaskets, Orings & Rubber Piston Seals + Filter, 1.60" Intermediate Band, Pump Bushing, and Extension Housing Bushing! This Transmission Kit is one that will only fit the 40RH 1992-On it will not work in the 42RH, 42RE, or 44RE. If you need one of the other transmission kits please see my other listing it will work for all of the A500 variations (40RH, 42RH, 42RE, or 44RE). These plates are Red Eagle high performance clutch plates. These clutches are put through a process where the friction paper is saturated in a phenolic resin, cured, and then saturated a second time in a silicate. The silicate imparts high heat resistance.
